Today is Veteran's Day. People keep calling the library to ask if we're open, to which I'm tempted to reply, "I answered the phone, didn't I?"

I feel the weather in my shoulders (and my sinuses, just to round things out). It hurts.

Note to self:

As much as it may feel that your sinus meds are not helping at all, not taking them only seems to prove otherwise. Way to be a moron, yo.

So I just "rescued" the youth of Bardstown, by pulling a postcard from the back of a children's book. Back in 1998, readers could call the number on the postcard, and join a fan club for the series. The number has since been reissued to a phone sex line.

I am so tired, and braindead, and gah. I think I might just sleep through the weekend.

Fall and winter weather always fucks with me in bad ways. It's rained here for two days straight (this is the beginning of day three), which kicked my sinuses into high gear. For about two or three days in Florida, my sinus headache went away. And then the day we drove back, I woke up with what seems to be my now ever-present sinus headache again. 24-hour meds don't even put a dent in it, and the 4-hour meds only work as long as I keep taking them.
